Mannvir Baljit Singh

Mannvir Baljit Singh read law at Cardiff University, Wales, UK and graduated with honours in 2017. He was then admitted as a Barrister-at-law in England and Wales as a member of the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn in 2018 following his completion of the Bar Training course at BPP University, London. He thereafter went on to pursue a Masters of Laws (LLM) at the University of Sydney, where he graduated in 2019. Mannvir also holds a Professional Diploma in International Commercial Arbitration, awarded by the Malaysian Institute of Arbitrators.
Mannvir commenced his pupillage under the tutelage of Dato Malik Imtiaz Sarwar before being admitted to the High Court of Malaya as an Advocate & Solicitor in January 2021. Following his admission, he commenced practice as an associate with Datuk Seri Gopal Sri Ram, and has regularly appeared with him as assisting counsel in a wide range of complex or high value civil and commercial disputes. Mannvir has also assisted Datuk Seri Gopal Sri Ram in constitutional law matters before the Federal Court.
Mannvir's main area of practice is employment and industrial relations litigation matters and he has acted and assisted in claims for unfair dismissal and breach of confidentiality disputes. Mannvir has also written legal articles that have been published by the Malayan Law Journal focusing on commercial and arbitration subject matters.
