Aida Yasmin Cheree Mohamad

Aida Yasmin Cheree Mohamad graduated from the International Islamic University Malaysia with a Bachelor of Laws (Hons.) in 2017 and commenced her pupillage at a leading legal firm in the same year. She was subsequently admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya and commenced her legal practice in 2018.

As a legal associate, Aida has a wide range of experience in litigation matters concerning employment-related issues, where she has acted for private entities, government-linked corporations and statutory bodies. She has appeared before various levels of court in both civil and criminal matters and has successfully defended companies in unfair dismissal claims at the Industrial Court, as well as in criminal prosecution instituted by SOCSO. Aida also has experience in contractual and tortious disputes between an employer and an employee.

Aida also has extensive experience in out-of-court negotiations and legal advice relating to employment law issues including retrenchment exercises, mutual separation schemes, disciplinary process against employees for misconduct and poor performance, trade disputes, as well as issues regarding employment contracts.
